InkRise: A Writing BootCamp for Women in Academia

Make time. Make space. Let your scholarship be seen.

InkRise: Elevate Your Research, Reach the World

InkRise is a guided programme designed to support academics on the journey from research to publication. Whether you're refining a manuscript, navigating journal submissions, or overcoming writing blocks, InkRise offers expert guidance, structured support, and a collaborative environment to help your work rise and resonate.

Offered as part of the Women-Space Leadership Lab, this first iteration of InkRise is intentionally co-created with participants. Together, we’ll shape a space that supports your voice and builds the confidence and momentum to publish with clarity and purpose.

Take this first step and join us. You will be on the way to finding the time and space to get your work out there.

Is InkRise for you?

You’re a woman in academia who:

  • Has important research that’s stuck in draft form—or still in your head

  • Struggles to find time and energy for your own writing amidst everything else

  • Feels ready to centre your voice, your expertise, and your contribution

  • Longs for structure, support, and a space to write without judgment

Designed specifically for academic and third-space professionals who put everything and everyone before their own time to write, this programme is about making your work visible—and reclaiming the space to do it.

The Co-Creation Invitation

This is the first offering of InkRise, and it’s intentionally designed as a living lab. As a founding participant, you’ll shape the process as much as the product. Together, we’ll build a space that recognises your commitments, ambition and brilliance.
