Announcing the Women-Space Leadership Award in collaboration with the Staff Development Forum

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Women-Space Leadership Award, a new recognition of merit that celebrates the remarkable achievements of women’s leadership across Staff Development and Faculties within the Higher Education sector. The award is a collaboration between Women-Space and the Staff Development Forum, and it aims to highlight the significant leadership contributions of women across different grades with the ultimate purpose of promoting gender equality in professional and academic positions.

The award recognises colleagues who play a role at different stages of their careers, including management and leadership positions, and who demonstrate innovation, impact, integrity, the ability to inspire others and and a commitment to fostering an inclusive culture.. The award also serves as a beacon of inspiration, providing relatable role models and encouraging women to develop their leadership within their roles and if they desire to aspire to leadership roles and excel in them.

This award aligns with the theme of the staff Development Forum 2024 Festival of Learning and Development: ‘Transform, Empower and Balance: Moving towards an adaptive mindset in times of disruption.’

Shortlisted submissions will be featured as Women-Space case studies, allowing you to share your successes and inspire others across the sector.
